EvoQuip, a Terex Corp. brand, unveiled the Cobra 230 impact crusher as its latest addition to its impact crushing range.

The Cobra 230 impact crusher works in a number of applications, including quarrying, construction & demolition, asphalt recycling and contract crushing. The crusher features quick setup times and an intuitive control system.

“The quick setup times, simple intuitive operation and ease of transport makes this machine an ideal solution for all applications,” says Matt Dickson, product line director at EvoQuip.

As material moves from the feeder through the impactor and onto the product belt, each section widens in order to ensure unrestricted flow. The crusher comes with ample undercrusher clearance and the ability to lower the product conveyor while it is still running, EvoQuip adds.

In addition, the Cobra 230 uses a high-performing direct-drive system to power the impact crusher. Two independent hydraulic-controlled aprons allow operators to optimize the material throughput and reduction while ensuring fuel efficiency, according to EvoQuip. The crusher also provides ground-level access to the engine, hydraulics, service and refueling points for easier maintenance.
