Durex Products Inc. purchased Weir Slurry Group’s wire cloth screen media assets and manufacturing facility in Luck, Wisconsin.

According to Durex, the company plans to apply product development and customer service concepts in supplying screen media and screening accessories to the mining, aggregate and recycling industries.

The company’s current products now include wide screens, perforated plates, vibrating screen accessories, wedge wire screens, modular wedge wire panels and modular wire cloth panels.

“We look forward to reinforcing the principles long held at Durex and are anxious to reconnect with some of our valued customers who may have lost sight of us in the last few years of changes,” says Chad Hackett, vice president and general manager at Durex.
