ConExpo-Con/Agg registration to include monorail passes

conexpo-conagg2017-logoThe Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM), in conjunction with the Las Vegas Monorail, is including unlimited monorail rides with three-day and seven-day passes for ConExpo-Con/Agg attendees and exhibitors, respectively.

“We are always looking at ways to maximize value and convenience for our exhibitors and attendees, and with a station in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center and at the adjoining Westgate Resort & Casino, it just made sense to add the monorail to create our new ‘Badge-Pack’ bundle that also includes the show badge and hotel shuttle buses,” says Sara Truesdale Mooney, vice president of exhibitions and business development for AEM. “We believe incorporating the monorail as a resource and amenity will elevate our stakeholders’ experience in a brand-new way.”

According to AEM, the Las Vegas Monorail is an economical and convenient mode of transportation. In 2015, the monorail reduced toxic emissions by 29.6 tons of carbon monoxide, volatile organic compounds and nitrous oxides and eliminated more than 2.3 million vehicle miles, AEM reports.

ConExpo-Con/Agg will take place March 7-11, 2017, at the Las Vegas Convention Center. It will be held at the same time as IFPE, an international exposition and technical conference dedicated to the integration of fluid power with other technologies for power transmission and motion control applications.
