BKT Tires opens operation in South Carolina
BKT Tires, a subsidiary of Balkrishna Industries, began warehouse operations in Wando, S.C., with its first shipment delivering this month.
“The warehousing of BKT OTR tires will ensure the company can rapidly meet customer needs in the eastern United States,” says Shawn Rasey, president of BKT Tires.
The South Carolina warehouse will offer tires with 25-in. rims and larger and services such as tire storage, inventory and reporting, non-compliant tire stamping, flatbed load-out, and over-sized tire shipping and handling.
