RAM Inc. president receives ISEE blasting award
July 29, 2011Robert McClure, president of Robert A. McClure (RAM) Inc., received the International Society of Explosives Engineers’ (ISEE) President’s Award, presented at the 37th Annual Conference on Explosives & Blasting Technique in San Diego. McClure joined a select group of individuals who have received the honor, which is given to those who have contributed their time, talents and efforts to ISEE in a voluntary capacity to advance the blasting industry.
A 31-year-member of the ISEE as well as a member of the Society of Mining Engineers (SME) and International Bomb Technicians (IBTA), McClure has worked in a variety of capacities to spur blasting innovation used for the explosives industry.
McClure began his career in the blasting industry more than 30 years ago as a technical marketing representative for DuPont Explosives, where he was extensively involved with the evaluation, application and technical support of specialty products and services. He later led the charge for improving blasting accuracy, safety and efficiency through advancing the development of field applications for digital blasting systems.
As president of RAM Inc., McClure provides training and technical and marketing support globally to the explosives industry.
