Caller ID feature

Command Alkon’s Auto Caller ID (ACI) feature for its CommandSeries line of products streamlines the order-entry process for dispatchers. When an incoming call is received to the dispatcher, CommandSeries with ACI pops up a display on the dispatcher’s monitor. The dispatcher can choose to ignore the prompt or click on it to display CommandSeries. If the call is from a telephone number already in a customer file in the database, the caller’s name and order history will automatically be displayed before the dispatcher picks up the phone. When the telephone number of the caller is not in the system, a contacts screen automatically displays with the incoming phone number already populated in the appropriate field.

Skirting

An improved version of Martin Engineering’s Apron Sealskirtboard sealing system provides double the wear life, according to the company. When bottom side of the strip against the belt is worn, the sealing strip is inverted, providing a second service life. New Double Apron Sealskirting is available in lengths up to 300 ft. to provide a continuous seal without seams that leak fugitive material.
